Shipping & Returns

 

 

As all orders are printed on demand, and shipped directly to you from our printer, our Returns & Refund Policy is as per our printer’s terms and conditions. See below.

You have the right to ask for a replacement or refund under Consumer Law for products and services bought on or after 1 January 2011.

​

You can ask us for a replacement or refund, but you are not always entitled to one. For example, the consumer guarantees do not apply if you got what you asked for but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it.

​

As our products are highly personalised and printed to order, we can only offer a replacement or store credit in the following circumstances:

​

  • Manufacturing defect - replacement

  • Item lost in transit - replacement

  • Shipping damage - replacement

  • Taryn Yeates Photography or Printers internal IT system error - store credit

  • Taryn Yeates Photography or Printers Customer Service or designer error - store credit

​

Please read our Terms of Use carefully before claiming a refund, as these will guide you as to whether you got what you ordered or whether you can in fact claim a replacement or refund.

​

A replacement or store credit must be requested within 30 days after delivery and will be issued in accordance with the above rules.

​

Our prints very rarely suffer defects and are carefully packaged for shipping, however if yours does arrives a little worse for wear please email us a photo with a brief description of the issue and a replacement will be issued upon confirmation by our team.

Monetary Compensation

​

Under Australian Law, Taryn Yeates Photography only have to offer a monetary refund if you experience a major problem.

​

What is a major problem?

​

A product or good has a major problem when:

​

  1. It has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they’d known about it.

  2. It is unsafe.

  3. It is significantly different from the sample or description.

  4. It doesn’t do what the business said it would, or what you asked for and can’t easily be fixed.

Compensation for damages & loss

​

Under Australian Consumer Law, you may seek compensation for damages and losses you suffer due to a problem with a product if we could have reasonably foreseen the problem. This is in addition to your replacement or refund.

​

What is not covered?

​

Taryn Yeates Photography does not have to pay for damages or losses that:

  • Are not caused by our conduct, or our products.

  • Relate to something independent of our business, after the goods leave our control.

Shipping

​

We deliver Australia wide and internationally. Tracking details will be emailed to you when we book your delivery. 

​

To avoid your artwork being incorrectly delivered all items require a signature on delivery. If you have a locked gate please consider a neighbour or relatives house, your work address or a drop-off point.

​

Once your order has been placed and approved, you can expect to receive your product in 14 -21 business days. If you have a custom order or urgent request you can also contact us directly to discuss.

​

We cannot guarantee that all our print sizes will be available to locations outside of our national regional network. You will be informed if there is an issue with your location. As per our terms and conditions, occasionally shipping delays occur due to reasons beyond our control. If shipping is delayed we will do everything possible to ensure your delivery arrives quickly, but we will not be liable for late arrivals.

You the customer accept that if you are working to any deadlines, Taryn Yeates Photography is not liable for any missed deadlines or lost business because of shipping delays. If an order is lost or damaged in transit, we guarantee a replacement. Please note that we will require proof of damage for insurance purposes.
